OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
We believe that music is a language that connects people and transcends boundaries. That's why we focus not only on teaching drums, guitar, piano and music production, but also on empowering you with the ability to approach music as a conversation between you, fellow musicians and your audience. Our instructors draw upon their extensive experience playing with major artists to guide you in understanding the dynamics of being part of a band and performing at various events, churches, and with friends.
PERFORM AND SHINE
At Macon Music Academy, we know the importance of showcasing your talent. That's why we host two showcases each year, providing our students with valuable performance opportunities. These showcases give you the chance to share your musical prowess with others and gain confidence on stage. We believe that performing for others is an essential part of your musical journey, and our showcases create an atmosphere of celebration and growth.
EXPERIENCE LESSONS IN STUDIO OR BY ZOOM
We understand that your time is crucial. That's why we are able to teach select lessons in our studio or by Zoom, so you can immerse yourself in a creative atmosphere whether at home or at our location. We're confident that once you start, you'll feel inspired and ready to embark on your musical adventure with us.
LATE MORNINGS OR LUNCHTIME FOR HOMESCHOOLERS, RETIREES, COLLEGE STUDENTS AND WORKING PROFESSIONALS
We offer earlier lesson times, and we see many students between the hours of 10 AM - 2 PM. If you are at home, school, a parent, retiree, college student, or working professional, who has a flexible schedule, take advantage of our lunchtime and early afternoon lesson spots!
SOME WORDS FROM OUR STUDENTS
I started weekly drum lessons with Tim in December 2022 with no prior drumming experience. He has been great to learn from and has catered the lessons to learning rudiments or songs/music I’m interested in. He’s flexible and works with you on scheduling lessons. The best part about taking lessons with Tim is how fun he makes it! It’s been a great experience progressing over the months and I look forward to my lesson each week!

Tim’s wealth of experience and open lesson structure allow him to relate to my struggles as a drummer and provide useful exercises to overcome these challenges. His lessons are comfortable, providing good discussions and demonstrations. In addition, he is not afraid to show you his own mistakes when trying new exercises.
